Michael Parks Randa is a writer, director, and inclusion activist from Sherborn, Massachusetts, currently based in Los Angeles. Growing up on a farm where his family runs a school for folks with disabilities, Randa was raised with a unique perspective on the power of inclusion and authentic representation. Randa's feature directorial debut 'Best Summer Ever' premiered at the 2020 SXSW Film Festival, taking home the Special Jury Award for Screenwriting. A New York Times Critics Pick, the original 8-song musical featured an integrated cast and crew featuring talent with and without disabilities. 'Best Summer Ever' was executive produced by Jamie Lee Curtis, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Peter Sarsgaard, Ted Danson, Mary Steenburgen, and Amy Brenneman.
